Ross update

Hi guys, i agree caspar putting my concept on here would be pretty usefull :) so here you go, im liking your columns caspar, although i dont think the bottom half should be so large put more emphasis on the column and not the platform!...adam liking the progress, looking very realistic :P *high five* i shall post my work on here late, just wanna finish it off

pillars

this is part of what i have done so far. the one on the right is the pillars that are meant to be old torches, not sure if they will still be lit or not yet. the other two are ones i made for using on the temple. i have ended up using the one on the left. they all have bump maps on them to make them look a bit nicer as you can hopefully see belowi don't like the bump map on the top of the middle pillar i am going to change it is was just to give me an idea of what it looks like.
by the way Ross why haven't you put up your concept work it would be helpful if we could look at it.

Starting to come to gether a bit now

Hi, just another update showing the ring with a few of the duplicates in place, trying not to think too much about having to go back and texture all this. Just making some assests for outside at the mo (they are in the middle, not v clear tho). Hope all's goin well elsewhere.

Just a quick update before some people come to look at our house. Making an escalator for the interior of the ring building took my time on the hand rail to make it like one i saw during research (a ring section can be seen in the bg too). Hope everyone else is making god progress.

map issues

i think we have come across so issues with who is doing what on the island. i personal think that to keep the overall look right it would make more sense to split up the island as shown in this picture me doing the red part Ross doing the surrounding area. i understand this may cause problems as Ross has already modeled somethings. We need to have a proper group meeting i suggest that we all meet on monday

Just for the benefit of caspar, in this pic there are to exits, leading out to where your wonderfull river shall be! now i was wondering whether or not it would be cool to have some ruined bridges there!? also in the background high up is where the manor house royal observatory thing is gonna be! i lied these columns arent finished, but they are as good as, just need to add some vines!
